UPDATE - Contractors must be enrolled in a training class by September 30, 2010. Register your seat today to avoid fines.
Firms working in pre-1978 homes will need to be certified. Along with firm certification, an employee will also need to be certified as a Certified Renovator. Click here for an explanation of the difference between a Certified Firm and Certified Renovator.

This course will certify participants for the new Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) training requirements. In 2008 the EPA announced new rules which goes into effect (new date) January 1, 2011, that alters the way contractors who renovate or repair housing, childcare facilities or schools built before 1978 will do their work. Approved for 4CE Safety & AGC-SIF Approved.

How To Register Online
(NOTE: If you have attended a class with us in the past two years, you should have an account. Click ‘Forgot Password’ when prompted during registration)
1.) Click on the link above, Register Online
2.) In the new window, select the class you would like to attend (sorted by month with tabs at the top)
3.) Click the name of the class you wish to attend
4.) Once ready to register, click Login/Register
5.) Type in your username/password (If you do not have an account, click First Time Registrant)
6.) If you are not taken to a new window, it is due to a pop-up blocker. Hold down the Crtl key while clicking Login/Register
7.) If more than one person will be attending the class, click Add Participant on Step 2 during the registration process (on the bottom left)

Who Should Attend Anyone, such as painters, plumbers, electricians, and contractors, who could potentially expose children to lead dust during their work. Visit the website for a full explanation.
If your group is interested in holding a private training class for your company, arrangements can be made for the course to be held at our facility or yours (local or in another state).

Disclaimer
- All reservations must be paid in advance of the class using the online reservation system. If you can not make payment with a credit card, you must FAX OR mail a printed reservation form and payment to the HBA of Lexington office prior to the class. You will then be contacted by the HBA to confirm your reservation.
- DUE TO DEMAND FOR LIMITED CLASS DATES Refunds will only be given for cancellations made prior to 24-hours before the start time.
- DUE TO SCRUTINY BY EPA No one, for any reason, will be admitted to the class once the class has started – no exceptions. In the event that you are late, you will not be allowed to enter the class and you will not receive a refund. A new fee and reservation must be submitted for an alternative date.
