About

lead_paintEPALeadTraining.com was created in order to help you meet the new EPA Lead Based Paint ruling requirement.  Training applies to anyone who ‘see details here’.  At this point, all contractors who disturb more than 6sq. ft of surface in homes built pre-1978 should determine if they need the training.

*** The EPA has stepped up enforcement for 2012 with fines up to $37,500 per day, per project! ***

*** Classes Now Being Held at Multiple Locations ***

EPA RRP v1.1 – EPA Lead Based Paint Certification training is available in your area. Starting March 4th, Beck Safety Consulting along with the Home Builders Association will begin holding EPA Lead Training classes (RRP).   Due to the high demand for the training, it is recommended that firms register ASAP for the first available training date.

This course will certify participants for the new Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) training requirements. In 2008 the EPA announced new rules which go into effect April 22, that alters the way contractors who renovate or repair housing, childcare facilities or schools built before 1978 will do their work.
